Testing up to 10 Houses: Walls Only

Service Description

This testing package is for separating wall tests in developments comprised of 1-10 Semi-detached, Terrace or Town houses. Please see our other testing packages for other development types if your development has any flats, apartments or separating floors. One or two airborne separating wall tests will be carried out by our registered sound tester on the date booked. After you have booked your preferred testing visit date, we will contact you via phone or email to confirm your booking and clarify the specific characteristics of your site. You will then be sent a formal quotation via email. On completion of the work the results will be sent in a pdf report via email. This report will contain a link for your Building Control Officer to used to access the ANC’s online certification. • The final fee on the formal quotation will include all consultancy fees and expenses. • Sound Tests Ltd is a subsidiary of NoiseAssess Ltd, which is a member of the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) third party registration scheme and all tests will be carried out by personnel registered under that scheme. On completion of the work a link will be provided to the ANC’s online certification. • The client will be responsible for arranging access to the site for the tests and for ensuring site conditions are suitable for testing (see general site conditions on the attached sheet). • We have assumed that the rooms to be tested will be unoccupied and that all of the tests can be carried out in one visit to site. • The client will be responsible for checking that the level of testing being proposed is acceptable to the Building Control Officer.
